Year 5 Trip to Royal Observatory Greenwich
As part of our science curriculum, we have been learning about Earth, the moon, the planets and how these celestial bodies move in space. To further our learning we went to visit the Royal Observatory in Greenwich where we found out about some of the Royal Astronomers, found out how to navigate using the stars, stood on the prime meridian line, asked astronomers some questions and watched a planetarium show about what we can see in the night sky. It was a magnificient day out!
